The first night rehearsal of the military parade dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at the Red Square in Moscow on April 27.

More than 10,000 servicemen and 114 units of modern weaponry and military equipment took part in the rehearsal. Above: T-72B3 battle tanks passing through the Moscow city center.
28 ground troops of the Russian army, as well as cadet corps of the Nakhimov Navy School and the Moscow Suvorov Military School participated in the rehearsal.
Servicemen of the Western Military District, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard of Russia and the Russian Federal Security Service had also taken part in the rehearsal.
The self-propelled Msta-S and the newest Koalitsiya-SV howitzers, as well as the Iskander missile system, along with representatives of the strategic missile forces and artillery, passed through the Red Square during the rehearsal.
An arctic colored Tor-M2DT air defense missile system and Pantsir-SA surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery weapon system drove through the main square of the country for the first time as part of the rehearsal.
