Meet Polar Bear Twins Born at a Marine Mammal Park in Australia on April 26
16:00 GMT 04.05.2017 (Updated: 19:30 GMT 19.10.2022) Two polar bear cubs, who were born at Sea World on Australia's Gold Coast on April 26, were captured on tape for the first time on Tuesday.
The cubs were born to a 16-year-old Polar bear Liya in the early hours of Wednesday 26 April. Australia's Sea World announced on their website that at birth the cubs weighed approximately 600 grams and were 15 centimetres in length.
Polar bear population is currently declining, with 22,000 – 31,000 bears remaining worldwide.
