The Victory Day of the Second World War is the favorite national holiday for many Russians of all ages. Cities across the country are celebrating the Soviet army's victory over Nazi Germany with military parades, fireworks, congratulations of the veterans, as well as marches of the Immortal Regiment, when people take to the streets with images of their ancestors, who had participated in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
