The famous guests of this prestigious event and their haute couture outfits have always attracted public attention from around the world. Take a look at Sputnik’s selection of photos of actresses and models who attended the Cannes Film Festival in different years in garments that leave little to the imagination.

In 2017, the Cannes Film Festival celebrates its 70^th anniversary. The annual festival kicks off on May 17 and will last till May 28. This year, Spanish film director and screenwriter Pedro Almodóvar was selected as the President of the Jury for the festival, and Italian actress Monica Bellucci will be hosting the opening and closing ceremonies.
