MOSCOW (Sputnik) — France's La Republique En March (REM, or Republic on the Move) party, founded by President Emmanuel Macron, has seen a 9-percent jump in popularity in the last two weeks and is projected to win a 31 percent majority of the seats in the country's parliament at the upcoming general election, a fresh poll showed Wednesday.
According to the Ifop poll, The Republicans' party enjoys the support of 19 percent of potential voters, while the National Front party close behind with 18 percent of the projected vote.
The level of support for the France Insoumise (Unsubmissive France) stands at 15 percent, whereas the Socialist Party is forecast to receive a mere 7 percent at upcoming election.
Frances two-round parliamentary elections will be held on June 11 and June 18.
