10:00 GMT 27.05.2017 (Updated: 19:30 GMT 19.10.2022) On May 25, Russia's Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with a next-generation military satellite was successfully launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome.
A third launch site for light Soyuz carrier rockets is expected to be constructed at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in 2021-2025.
