The death toll in a Saturday terrorist attack on London Bridge has risen from seven to eight, according to the statement of London Metropolitan Police.

LONDON (Sputnik) — London police confirmed on Wednesday that the death toll in a Saturday terrorist attack on London Bridge has risen from seven to eight.

"Detectives investigating the terrorist attack in London Bridge on Saturday, 3 June, can confirm the number of people that were killed as a result of the attack is now eight," Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
