Amari Hall, 15, was born with a heart defect. After undergoing surgery several times while he was two years old, it started to fail, so the boy needed a new heart. The brave teenager didn’t give up on hope, and after months of waiting, he finally received lifesaving surgery. Watch the dance of joy he performed right in his hospital bed!

This heartwarming footage was posted to Facebook by Amari's aunt Charawn Hunter. As the teen couldn't hide his excitement and danced to the beat while lying in bed just six days after the surgery, his nurses joined in and his family behind the camera clapped and cheered him on.

Amari who is from Baltimore, MD, was released from the hospital in May, and, according to his doctors, he might already return to school in the fall.
