The insect flew into the President's mouth while he was giving a speech about the opening of a concrete plant in the southern part of the country.
However, Solis kept his feet on the ground.
"I ate it, I ate a wasp, it's not an everyday thing <…> Pure protein," the President of Costa Rica joked.
