06:00 GMT 23.06.2017 (Updated: 19:30 GMT 19.10.2022) Ashton Phillips, who was on a fishing trip in Kyuquot, Canada, was so stunned to see an eagle approaching his boat that he lost his catch to the aerial intruder. Instead, he has this insane close-up footage of the gorgeous bird, which has gone viral since Ashton published it on his social media accounts.
"I saw this one eagle kind of circling and it was along the shoreline, so I took my camera out to snap a picture of it," the fisherman said. All of a sudden, it started heading toward the boat. The man started recording video in slow-mo just as the bird swooped in and stole a big chunk of salmon and flew away. "NOT MAD about it at all," Mr. Phillips concluded, noting that his experience was "pretty surreal."
