MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The entry to the area is forbidden for Jewish Israelis, and a prior authorization from the Israeli officials is needed. In general, the worshipers are allowed to enter the city and pray at the Joseph's Tomb once a month during night time.
"Early in the morning, IDF received reports of 20 young Jews who entered Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus without first coordinating with the security forces… After being questioned, the suspects will be brought to the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court for a hearing," the IDF was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel newspaper.
Some of the men were detained by Palestinian security forces and handed then over to the IDF.
