00:39 GMT 28.06.2017 (Updated: 12:49 GMT 28.06.2017) A new report from the Banfield Pet Hospital reveals that the pets of Americans are getting fatter and fatter, with about one-third of all pets being measured as overweight.
The report studied the health of 2.5 million dogs and half a million cats who were brought to animal hospitals in 2016. According to Banfield, pets have been getting progressively fatter since 2012.
