US President Donald Trump arrives for a meeting with Italy's President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Presidential Palace in Rome - Sputnik International

US President Donald Trump and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni discussed over the telephone on Monday their agenda for the upcoming G20 Summit in Hamburg, the White House said in a press release.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump also expressed his appreciation for Italy’s initiative to address the Libyan migration crisis, the release added.

"President Donald J. Trump spoke today with Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni of Italy to discuss the agenda for the upcoming G20 Summit in Hamburg, Germany," the release stated on Monday.
