WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The two men, who were later identified as Mark Prichard and Patrick Diehl, allegedly made threatening remarks to one of the senator's aides, KGUN reported citing Flake's office.
The individuals said that liberals were going to solve what they termed was a "Republican problem" by "getting better aim," the press office stated.
Prichard and Diehll were referring to a shooting at a Republican baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia last month that left five people wounded, including Congressman Steve Scalise.
The authorities also charged Prichard with third degree criminal trespass, the report noted.
