WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Another 22 percent of those surveyed say they believe the first meeting between Trump and Putin will have no impact on the United States, the poll found.
"A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 31 percent of Likely US Voters feel the meeting between Trump and Putin is good for America, while slightly more (37 percent) think it’s bad for the country," the poll said.
Trump and Putin met for more than two hours on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany on Friday, where they agreed to establish a new ceasefire in southern Syria and to set up a joint cybersecurity unit.
Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 likely US voters between July 6 and July 9 for the poll, which has a margin of error of plus-minus 3 percent.
