Six Il-38 (NATO reporting name: May) anti-submarine jets took part in the drills. According to airbase commander Gennady Mironenko, the pilots successfully coped with the set tasks as the unit of maneuver enemy’s vessels was found and the relevant information was sent to other jets and ships.
