A US technology firm won more than $27 million contract for technical and engineering services to install equipment for the Fleet Area Air Control Tracking System, the Department of Defense said in a press release.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Work on the project will last just over five years and is expected to be completed in August 2022, the Defense Department added.

"KBRwyle Technology Solutions, Columbia, Maryland, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $27,156,181… for technical, engineering products, hardware and services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Branch," the release said on Tuesday.
