"Near Abu Kamal, two strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed 50 oil barrels, 12 oil refinement stills, and one vehicle," the release stated on Friday.
Furthermore, five Daesh oil tanks and a well-head were destroyed in two coalition strikes near Deir ez-Zor, according to the release.
Also, nine strikes near Raqqa destroyed three Daesh communication towers, a command and control node, and an artillery system. The strikes also engaged five Daesh tactical units and damaged three supply routes.
In Iraq, coalition forces conducted five strikes against three cities, including Mosul and Kirkuk, destroying fighting positions, Daesh-held buildings, a bunker, a supply cache, and engaging multiple tactical units.
The US-led coalition of 72 nations is conducting airstrikes, ground-based and rocket-propelled artillery fire against Daesh in Syria and Iraq. The strikes in Iraq are conducted in support of the Iraqi government, but those in Syria are not authorized by the UN Security Council or the government of President Bashar Assad.
