MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia has lifted restrictions on flights from Tbilisi to Moscow for the Georgian airline Georgian Airways, a spokesman for the Russian Transport Ministry told Sputnik on Monday.
The ministry has earlier restricted the flights of the Georgian Airlines to Moscow, as Tbilisi had not agreed to coordinate the flights of the Russian airline Ural Airlines from the Zhukovsky airport near Moscow to Georgia.
"We confirm that the restrictions have been lifted," the official said adding that Georgia had already coordinated the flights of the Ural Airlines from Zhukovsky to Tbilisi.
