Helping Hand: Young Men Come to Aid of Antelope Caught in Barbed Wire
10:12 GMT 18.07.2017 (Updated: 19:31 GMT 19.10.2022) These young men were traveling down a rural road in Columbus, Montana, US, when they noticed an antelope that got caught in a barbed wire fence.
They pulled over to free the struggling animal, which had its head and front leg trapped in the wire. "We hopped out and quickly came to the animal's aid… He relaxed enough to let us help him. We freed the animal and he seemed to run away unscathed. Happy we got to him before a predator did," the antelope's saviors wrote. The men initially feared the animal was seriously injured but it ran off without any apparent discomfort.
