Majority of Americans Fear US to Enter Major War During Trump's Term - Poll

More than 75 percent of Americans think the United States will be involved in a major war within the next four years, a new NBC News/Survey Monkey poll revealed on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — When asked how worried they are that the United States will become engaged in a major war in the next four years, a total of 76 percent said they were "very worried" or "somewhat worried," the poll results showed.

The poll also revealed that most Americans surveyed felt North Korea is the greatest immediate threat to the United States, followed by Daesh terrorist group.

Eighteen percent of respondents said Russia is the main threat to their country, according to the poll.

The poll has a margin of error of 2.1 percentage points.
