As the crowd jeered, not even the game’s announcer was able to resist taking a swipe at Christie.
"Nice to see him get from the beach here to the ballpark," Dan McLaughlin quipped.

As Christie nears the end of his second term, and, luckily for New Jersey residents, is not seeking re-election, his legacy is likely to include going down as one of the most hated political figures in New Jersey history.
