The shark, dubbed Hilton by the shark trackers from Ocearch, was tagged near Hilton Head, South Carolina, on March 3, and was headed for cooler waters when he swam 150 miles into Norfolk Canyon’s inside edge, the Virginia Pilot reports.
He then went about 70 miles to the east of Cape Henry and hung out for a little while, surfacing in the same area 33 minutes later.
