WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, now a White House advisor, recently revised his security clearance application after he initially failed to include more than 100 meetings, including with Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak, banker Sergey Gorkov, and others.
"We are concerned that Ivanka Trump may have engaged in a similar deception," the lawmakers wrote. "Did she disclose her husband's meetings with Kislyak and Gorkov?"
The letter also raises the issue of a meeting between Ivanka’s brother Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, which Kushner also attended.
The lawmakers noted that lying or concealing information on the SF-86 security clearance questionnaire is a crime that carries a possible five-year prison sentence.
Twenty-two Democratic Representatives signed the letter, including Congressman Donald Beyer Jr., who released it.
