Bull's-Eye: Russian Soldiers Hold MANPADS Drills in the North
13:44 GMT 20.07.2017 (Updated: 19:31 GMT 19.10.2022) Russia’s naval crews and Northern Fleet units armed with man-portable air defense systems (MPADS) took part in four-day drills in the Murmansk region. During the exercises, military personnel practiced using the Igla MPADS to destroy air targets.
After Russian soldiers examined the device and its performance characteristics, they performed combat exercises — live firing at air targets. Each of the fired missiles hit their targets.
