WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Army has awarded three companies a $270 million contract to install and maintain electronic security systems at domestic bases, the Department of Defense said in a press release.
"Indyne [of] Reston, Virginia; Spectrum Solutions [of] Madison, Alabama and Williams Electric Company [of] Fort Walton Beach, Florida [were] awarded a $270,000,000 type 1 contract… necessary to procure, install, service and maintain electronic security systems," the release said on Friday.
The contract will cover for personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other services and will alst for more than four and a half years with an estimated completion date of March 20, 2022, the Defense Department said.
