FBI Arrests US Solider in Hawaii for Ties to Daesh
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Court documents showed that Ikaika Kang offered a federal agent posing as a member of Daesh (outlawed in Russia) to provide the group with classified military data and training, according to the Hawaii News Now website.

The 34-year-old serviceman with the US Army’s 25th Infantry Division, stationed at Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa, also reportedly said he wanted to kill "a bunch of people."

The soldier served in Iraq in 2010 and in Afghanistan in 2014. He has been in custody since July 8, following a year-long investigation and faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the four charges against him. He will next appear in court on Monday.
