MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Fox is on visit to Washington on July 23-24 to discuss the prospects of a post-Brexit free trade agreement between the United Kingdom and the United States.
According to media reports, Fox is expected to hold meetings with US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Wilbur Ross, the Commerce Secretary. The discussion is reportedly supposed to prepare the ground for potential separate trade deal after London's withdrawal from the European Union.
Brexit negotiations officially kicked off on June 19, and are due to be completed by March 30, 2019. The talks, including those on free trade with UK international partners, are already in their second round.
