A USA Today/iMediaEthics poll released Monday has revealed that a surprising number of US voters do not believe that Trump will last a full four-year term, according to the Washington Examiner.
The survey, conducted between July 17 and 19, noted that 42 percent of US adults who participated in the poll agreed that Trump should be removed from office. The same 42 percent figure, according to the poll, agreed with the statement that Trump should not be impeached.
Over 33 percent of those surveyed believe that Trump will not complete the four-year presidential term to which he was elected.
Twenty-three percent agreed with the statement that Trump "probably won't" complete the term, and 13 percent agreed with the statement that he "definitely won't," the Washington Examiner reported.
A majority of those surveyed believe that Trump will survive his current term, while approximately one third believe that Trump will "probably" last the approximately 1278 days left until the next inauguration.
Some 27 percent believe that the deeply unpopular US president will "definitely" finish his term.
The online USA Today/iMediaEthics poll surveyed 1,330 adults and has a given margin of error of 2.8 percentage points.
