MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Kremlin has nothing to do with senior Kushner's 2016 meeting with chief of Gorkov, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
"These contacts do not require any authorization from the Kremlin and they were not carried out on behalf of the Kremlin. This is absolutely normal practice when the heads of large banks, development institutions carry out road shows in foreign countries and conduct various negotiations there," Peskov told reporters.
US media outlets and officials have repeatedly accused members of Trump's team of having contacts with Russia, alleging that Moscow used these contacts for its own ends and even meddled in the US 2016 presidential election. Moscow has repeatedly refuted the US allegations, saying it had no intention to meddle in internal affairs of other states.
