The US Senate voted against the plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

US Senate Votes in Support of Obamacare Repeal
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Senate voted against the plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The vote was 43 to 57, including 9 Republicans rejecting the plan.

The plan provided for the reduction of the healthcare program for the poor, as well as cutting subsidies for the medical insurance to low-income citizens.
