This adorable 9-month-old boy, Levi, was sitting in front of the lion enclosure at Hogle Zoo in Utah’s Salt Lake City, waiting for the big cats to walk past him. But then he got distracted by the crowd of people and didn't even notice what was happening right behind him…

While the smiley baby was amused by the onlookers around him, a playful lion showed up right behind the little boy and quickly started clawing at the glass, trying to get the baby's attention. Luckily, Levi's parents caught it on camera and posted it for all to see. "As soon as the lion saw him, he wanted to play… or prey," they wrote. "Baby Levi is a favorite of the lions each time we visit, he's also a favorite of his 3-year-old brother… whose name is ironically Leo."
