"[T]he President and I would like to tell everybody we have a very, very good idea of who the leakers are, who the senior leakers are in the White House," Scaramucci stated in an interview with CNN.
In a Twitter message about leaks earlier on Thursday, Scaramucci copied White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. He noted in the interview, however, that the message was not meant as a call for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to investigate Priebus.
On Tuesday, Scaramucci told reporters that he would fire everyone in the press office if such a step is necessary to stop leaks to the media.
The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that US Attorney General Jeff Sessions intends to launch a probe into leaks of classified information to the press.
