MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the ISNA news agency, the plan was approved in general, but the committee will discuss its further details next week.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who was present at the Committee’s meeting, stated that the ministry completely agreed with the proposed plan, the media added.
Araghchi also said that Tehran must give an appropriate response to the actions of the United States as they negatively affect implementation of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Actions, the news agency added.
On Thursday, the US Senate approved a bill on new sanctions against Iran, North Korea and Russia. The House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved the bill earlier this week. According to the White House, US President Donald Trump intends to sign the bill.
