"NASA has awarded a contract to Millennium Engineering and Integration Company of Arlington, Virginia, for Safety and Mission Assurance Services (SMAS) II for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland," the statement said on Friday.
The contract will support flight projects such as Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx), the James Webb Space Telescope, and NASA projects with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the statement said.
Millennium Engineering will also work on the Joint Polar Satellite System-1 and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite program, the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope and the robotic satellite servicing spacecraft Restore-L, the statement added.
