Najaf police calculated that the "beggar's treasure" consisted of 72,322 million Iraqi dinars (about 64 thousand dollars), 562 dollars, 90 Saudi riyals, 119 Lebanese lira, 10 euros, 300 Kuwaiti dinars, 440 Iranian mists, 70 Afghan rupees and 320 Pakistani rupees, along with other unidentified currencies and gold jewelry.
Money bills and jewelry were stored in polyethylene bags, according to police report.
