The coalition conducted two other strikes in Syria, destroying a vehicle near Al Shadaddi and a building near Deir ez-Zor.

In Iraq, the coalition conducted seven strikes consisting of 10 engagements against the terror group’s positions near seven cities, including Al Huwayjah, Rawah and Tal Afar.

The strikes destroyed oil assets, tactical units, vehicles, a mortar team and other targets, according to the release.

The US-led coalition of more than 70 members is conducting airstrikes, ground-based and rocket-propelled artillery fire against Daesh in Syria and Iraq. The strikes in Iraq are conducted in support of the Iraqi government, but those in Syria are not authorized by the UN Security Council or the government of President Bashar Assad.
