WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US-based Oshkosh Defense Company won a contract worth more than $195 million for 748 heavy military vehicles and associated equipment kits, the Defense Department said in a press release.
"Oshkosh Defense [of] Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has been awarded a $195,483,510 modification… contract to exercise available options for 748 vehicles and 2,359 installed and packaged kits," the release said on Monday.
Work on the contract will be carried out over the next 16 months will be performed in Oshkosh in the US state of Wisconsin with an estimated completion date of November 30, 2018, the Defense Department explained.
