MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Palestinian Maan news agency specified that the overnight raids were conducted all across the West Bank territories, including such districts as Nablus, Qalqiliya, Bethlehem and Ramallah.
According to the sources cited by the media outlet, Israeli forces also seized money and a vehicle during a raid on the house of Palestinian prisoner Muhammad Abd al-Basit in Deir Samit village, whose father allegedly got the cash from the Hamas movement, which is regarded by Israel as a terror organization.
Israeli forces regularly conduct search and detention raids on the territory of the West Bank. On Tuesday, media reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), border police and police forces carried out a joint operation in the West Bank and detained 10 people on suspicion of terrorism and violent activities.
