MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The rally against the assembly had been initially scheduled for Wednesday, according to media reports.
"Attention: the march against the fraud would take place on Thursday, the day, when the dictatorship plans to 'install' the fraud," Guevara said on his Twitter account on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s government held elections for delegates to the Constituent Assembly that would be charged with rewriting the country’s Constitution. The move was criticized by opposition and led to mass protests across the nation. The demonstrations have already caused numerous victims.
