International Army Games 2017, Day Five
17:00 GMT 03.08.2017 (Updated: 13:42 GMT 06.08.2022) The fifth day of the 2017 International Army Games full of competitions among snipers, submariners, tank crews and infantry has come to an end. The games took place on 22 grounds of five countries: Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.
More than 150 teams comprised of 4,000 personnel from 28 countries participate in this year's games, which kicked off in Russia on July 29 and will last until August 12. Servicemen compete in 28 army disciplines: from the Tank Biathlon race that has already become famous across the world to the Field Kitchen competition of army cooks. The International Army Games are the annual military competitions that have been held since 2015 at the initiative of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
