Accidental Close-up of Shark's Jaw
13:00 GMT 03.08.2017 (Updated: 19:31 GMT 19.10.2022) Camera meets shark! This amazing underwater footage, posted on Facebook by the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries on August 1, was captured by DMF scientist Greg Skomal during a white shark research trip.
As the scientist tried filming some underwater action, a shark got a little too close and chomped down on the camera, giving a real-life, first-person view of a shark attack.
