Best of the Best: Russia Continues to Lead in 2017 Int'l Army Games
17:30 GMT 07.08.2017 (Updated: 19:31 GMT 19.10.2022) After eight days, the Russian team is in the lead at the 2017 International Army Games, winning 13 out of 28 disciplines. China currently holds “silver,” followed by Kazakhstan in the third-place.
The games, which kicked off in Russia on July 29 and will last until August 12, are held on 22 grounds in five countries: Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China. More than 150 teams from 28 countries are participating in this year's event, which includes 28 army disciplines: from the Tank Biathlon race that has already become famous across the world to the Field Kitchen competition between army cooks.
