MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Military attaches from around 80 countries will participate in a briefing about the upcoming International Military-Technical Forum Army-2017 Tuesday at the Patriot Park exhibition center in the Moscow Region, the ministry said in a statement.
"The main goal of the event is to inform our foreign partners about particular aspects of participation and the events within the Army-2017 forum. The briefing is expected to gather over 100 accredited in Russia military diplomats from around 80 countries of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific region," the statement read.
On August 22-27, Russia will hold the Army-2017 forum to showcase its high-tech military innovations and achievements. The event is expected to gather a great number of officials and military experts from dozens of countries. More than 100 foreign delegations will attend the event. The forum will use several venues, including the military-themed Patriot center, Kubinka airfield and Alabino training ground in the Moscow Region.
