A group of people rushed into the hotel because of a conflict between its owner and one of the guests, Baltkom said citing a police representative.
The hotel's manager called the police.
The assailants are reported to be still inside the hotel. Police told Delfi.lv that a civil case between the owner and the guest is the reason of the conflict. Investigation is underway. Police officers are reported to be providing security at the scene.
"No one can enter, there are armed guards," a Baltkom reporter said as quoted by Mixnews.lv.
