WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Army has awarded Rhoads Industries with a $49 million contract to make, install and remove shipboard machinery systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia, the Department of Defense said in a press release.
"Rhoads Industries [of] Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been awarded a $49,000,000… for fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, and removal of Navy shipboard machinery systems," the release stated on Tuesday.
The work will be carried out at various test sites and buildings located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division over the next three years with an estimated completion date of August 7, 2020, the Department of Defense said.
