LONDON (Sputnik) — Prominent Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt suffered injury and failed to finish the final race in his career, the 4 x 100 meters relay of the 2017 IAAF World Championships in Athletics held in London.
Bold said before the race, that he had been feeling pain. The sprinter pulled up and fell to the ground at the final leg of the relay carried out late on Saturday.
The race's gold medal was won by the UK team with the 37.47 seconds result, while the US team came the second in 37.52. The Japanese team came the third in the race with the result of 38.04 seconds.
