The owner of the dog had to drive the bear away from her pet. The clash of the two protective "mommies" mostly took place off camera; all you can hear in the video is the bear growling, the dog whimpering and barking, and the woman yelling at the wild animal.
Fortunately, everything turned out well: the dog and the woman were unharmed, and the bear returned to its cubs and ran away.
