People of 18 nationalities have been affected by a deadly van attack in central Barcelona, the Catalan civil protection service said early Friday, according to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Thirteen people died and more than 100 were injured Thursday when a van ploughed through the crowds in Catalonia’s regional capital of Barcelona, a popular tourist destination. A Belgian citizen was among those killed.
