Daesh terrorist group, outlawed in Russia, has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack in the Spanish city of Barcelona, El Periodico newspaper reported on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, a van hit pedestrians in Barcelona’s central Ramblas area. Catalonia’s authorities said that 13 people were killed and over 50 were injured in the incident.
